Smart Dual Light cameras have integrated IR (infrared) and white-light LED in them.

These cameras support 3 lighting modes: IR mode (black & white), White-light mode (full colour) and Smart mode (use of IR and white-light independently).

In IR mode, the images are black & white only.

In White-light mode, the images are in full colour even in poor lighting conditions.

In Smart mode, these cameras typically support AI algorithm to detect targets such as humans & vehicles and switch their lighting mode from IR to white-light.

For example, in smart mode :-

When there is no vehicle or person, the camera uses only the infrared light. When a vehicle or person appears, the white light is automatically triggered, resulting in vivid color imaging with clear details. When the vehicle or person leaves, the camera switches back to the infrared light.
