A web-smart PoE switch (also called a smart managed PoE switch or easy smart switch) is a network switch that:
- Supplies Power over Ethernet (PoE) to connected devices
- Provides basic network management through a web browser interface
- Sits between unmanaged and fully managed switches
It offers more control than an unmanaged switch, but is simpler and cheaper than a fully managed enterprise switch.
